The Sensation of Diet Coke with Lime

Its sleek and smooth appearance,

Wrapped fully in silver,

With a tasteful green belt

And those four words in life that I just love….

Diet Coke with Lime

Written to define what lies inside of your metal skin.

When I am finished admiring your outer perfection,

I reach for your tab, so that I can open you up,

Examine you from the inside out.

With a little force, I break into your soul.

And then I see it

That awesome brownish liquid that is my saving grace.

My mouth longs to feel that sensation of cold calorie free caffeine.

And when I finally take that first sip of perfection,

Let me tell you I am not disappointed.

Once again, my beloved Diet Coke with Lime has saved me from the devil that is thirst.
